I have included a few ideas on some of the typical shoots I’ve done but please don’t let this limit you.  If you have an idea for a project or event I would love to hear about it.  As you have probably found many photographers are reluctant to post their rates.  This is usually because it really depends on the shoot.  A 15 minute head shot session for 4 finished photos is much different than a 90 minute 15 person family shoot for 30-40 finished shots or an all day event coverage.  Different shooting time and more importantly a significant difference in editing time.  If you have something in mind you can contact me here.

Family Session

There are numerous locations in Edmonton to shoot from in all seasons, usually outside, year round.  The Edmonton River Valley boasts a variety of spots each having a different feel to them.  Typical family sessions run from $250-$400 depending on the length of the session and number of shots desired.

Baby and Maternity

Similar to Family Sessions this can be done outside or I can come to your home.  For newborns I suggest I come to you as this is usually easier on the little one. Typical sessions run from $250-$400 depending on the length of the session and number of shots desired.

Personal Session

Whether you are looking for a more professional head shot for the company brochure, to jazz up that linkedin profile pic, or just for your own use this is a great way to do it. Prices can range from a 15 minute head shot session for 4 photos for $100 to $400 for a 90 minute multiple location shoot.

Engagements

Edmontons’ downtown offers a range of locations from historic brick, to edgy glass and metal, to the nature we have overlooking the river.  Perhaps you have another location in mind like the mountains , family farm or out on the prairies.  Engagement photos shouldn’t be rushed and should reflect how you both feel.  There are so many factors to consider. Budget $250-$1000.

 Weddings

As a solo photographer this will help your costs however it will also make coverage of the event a lot simpler.  Prices vary depending on location, length of day and number of edited shots desired.  I suggest combining Engagement with the Wedding shots as its a great way to get to know each other before the big day.
